It Started with One Hive
In the spring of 2019, our founder placed a single beehive on a Brooklyn rooftop. What was meant to be a personal experiment in urban ecology quickly became something much bigger.
Neighbors noticed the garden blooming more vibrantly. The rooftop tomatoes were plumper. The community was curious. Within a year, we had five rooftops, a waiting list of building owners, and our first batch of wildflower honey that sold out in 48 hours.
Today, we manage over twelve rooftop apiaries across the city, each one a micro-ecosystem contributing to local biodiversity while producing some of the most unique honey you'll ever taste.
